About The Tahoe Tradesman
The Tahoe Tradesman is a small, full-service handyman business locally owned and operated out of beautiful Truckee, CA. We have worked hard to put together a top-notch team of professionals to help get your project or repairs taken care of from start to finish. Utilizing specialty business software we are able to make detailed photos available to you in real-time of your project in the event that you are not home. Our use of professional account software makes estimates, invoices, and payments a breeze with a fully online system.

I have worn many hats in my life, which makes me uniquely qualified to tackle a large range of projects. My summers as a kid were spent working for a neighbor's contracting business while running my own small custom computer/networking business throughout the year. I worked my way through college, first as a cook/sous chef, and eventually took a position at a friend's company as a home theater and whole-home audio installer.
My love of the outdoors led me to spend the next 5 years working as an arborist, climbing and pruning trees from Oregon to Texas. After a year or so in Texas, I decided I needed a career that allowed for more of a creative outlet and better utilization of my technical skills. As a result of that decision, I spent the next couple of years working as a designer fabricator for a wide array of clients in the Dallas metroplex.
Now back in California, I am excited to have finally taken a chance on myself and my abilities by creating The Tahoe Tradesman.
I take great pride in my work and love to teach and work with people to help achieve the results they are looking for.
Before joining The Tahoe Tradesman this year, I had experience with logistics and customer service management for a large brewery and separately for an online skincare brand, handling their entire domestic and International distributor portfolios. I have experience in setting up a concrete company’s commercial office space, and implementing standard operating procedures while being the lead contact for their clients. I have also worked as an Executive Assistant for a real estate team. With my experience, I look forward to applying these skills in my new role with the Tahoe Tradesman, helping streamline quick communication, scheduling management, and organization of every project.
In my spare time, my family and I enjoy living in Truckee skiing, hiking with our dog, and hanging by the lake and river.
I've been a supporter of The Tahoe Tradesman since the beginning, and more recently took on the role of Office Manager. I'm the first person you'll talk to when you contact us to schedule an estimate, and I strive to make your experience a pleasant one!
As a former classroom teacher, I value organization and clear communication with all of our clients. Having also worked as a property manager for a luxury vacation rental company in Tahoe, I have a strong attention to detail when it comes to your home, and I will often help Chris with cleaning and painting jobs that require a little extra precision.
